PASSPORT

A valid passport is required. You may be denied entry if your passport is going to expire within six months of entry.

EMBARKATION CARD

You must fill out a white EMBARKATION/DISEMBARKATION card prior to your arrival in Japan. A card will be distributed on the plane and a flight attendant can assist you if necessary. The immigration officer will keep one portion of the card and staple the smaller portion to your passport. Please keep the smaller portion in your passport as it is required to leave the country.

VACCINATIONS

No vaccinations are required to enter Japan from any country.

LUGGAGE

When traveling directly to or from North America, you are allowed to check in two pieces of luggage without charge. Each piece can weight up to 70 pounds. The maximum size of one piece is 62 inches (sum of height, width, & depth) and the other piece is 45 inches. Please check with our office as these figures change depending on the airline. You may also want to inquire about excess baggage charges. Other than a purse, you may also take one small bag that will fit in the luggage bin above your seat or in the seat in front of yours as "carry on baggage."
